Oxford University Press is a department of the University of Oxford. Refresh and try again. It’s not the kind of book that you could just skim, but the one that should be read like a story book.

Published November 20th by Intrkduction University Press. Are they the things that get listed in dictionaries, or are they the basic units of sentence structure? No trivia or quizzes yet.

Words, sentences and dictionaries 3: A very accessible book for anyone who wants to dig deeper into the workings of English words and phrases.

Carstairs-McCarthy mccwrthy to the chase, and his style of writing lacks the soporific impenetrability of typical classroom tomes. I think it went pretty well, and my students seemed to think so, too.

The Mexican university where I introsuction to teach wanted me to follow an inappropriate syllabus and use grossly outdated textbooks for an introductory course on English morphology.

My only qualm was that there is only one version of the book, and it includes the answers to the exercises, so I had to give the students copies of all of the pages save the answers, which put me in violation of several international laws, I’m sure.
