Mayers does a wonderful job of character development and plot built up so readers know that they will be learning more about each character throughout the series.

The errors continued beyond the story into the “also by this author” part, where a blurb from W. I hadn’t realized that this is only the first book in a six-book series. At times, she was the most interesting character in the book, and I thought it was clever of the author to give us a dog’s reaction to some people and situations–it almost made them more immediate.

I was hoping for more pay-off in this novel about the Bermuda Triangle and other mysterious “triangles” across the planet, which turn out to be linked to Atlantis, and possibly another dimension.

I was completely entranced by the first installment, and this donehan volume followed in it’s footsteps quite admirably. There are no discussion topics on this book yet.

But at least need to list it under my books. Mayers is a cliffhanger writer for sure. I highly recommend this action adventure to anyone who enjoys a SF, paranormal, fantasy, military type tale with such realism as to keep you thoroughly entertained.

There are a lot of similiarities to the hit TV show Lost, espeically the first season. The dialogue is stilted at times, and many The concept behind this book is interesting.
