No child has to go through childhood the way Addie was bought up Oct 09, Cc rated it did not like it. I was so frustated with the “hero” and annoyed with the heroine.

Doing the Right Thing by Barbara Elsborg – FictionDB

Can’t wait to read another her works. That she felt like she needed to “invent” a boyfriend to get her mom off her back was sad in itself. Just as you’re nearing the end and thinking it can’t possibly get any worse, it does.

You would think that if you didn’t like someone very much you would try your hardest to get rid of them any way you could. I loved this book with all my heart. Reading this book was like watching a soap opera but actually caring what happens. Or are all the editors men?? Funny, quirky, socially awkward young woman painfully figures out how to tell the difference between a man who pursues her for his selfish gratification and a man who can pursue no other.

Vulcanology scorched her feet. Then it got pretty dark real fast and the rest of the book is basically just abuse with abuse on top. Want to Read Currently Reading Read.

Won’t say much about the story line because it would spoil everything.

End result is this author has some talent but her story runs away with her. I’m not sure whether to read any more by the same author if all the women happily just let anyone and everyone trample all over them. Ratings and Reviews 0 0 star ratings 0 reviews. And Will is just a rihgt and an Ass!!

Refresh and try again. The first 80 pages alone were just her having about ten mishaps per page. He is a playboy with a reputation for loving and leaving women, but he loves his brother, and he just wants his brother to find happiness. She so wanted to be elsbotg and claimed by someone.

Love love loved it!! Anyway, I’m happy that I’ve enjoyed this story and almost all of Miss Elsborg’s books.

Ok, this was an odd book. Again, he was a complete, spineless, dumbass. Very well written and just a great story. This book did not feel like a romance.

At no time did I feel bad for Will and his emotional turmoil. She’s a virgin, never been o I’m so torn on this one!!

But that was before they met Addie. More of Addie and Ed. Girl Most Likely To. And he’s torn between what he wants to do and what he feels like is the “right thing”.

Gosh, I don’t even know how to explain this book. In a matter of sheer desperation to get her mother off her back about it, she has created a tall, dark and handsome fictional boyfriend.

Ultimately I was satisfied with the way it ended; the only thing that’s stopping me from giving it 5 stars is that I was expecting a lighthearted romance and my heartstrings got tugged way more than I had prepared myself for – though I guess the title should have warned me that it would be angsty!

Some relationship development would have been great on that end. Muller also known as Ed was thwarted at every opportunity and not really heard of very much in the first 70 minutes.

I barbaea believe it ended the way it does. We see the unrequited love build with one character while the other is occupied with other things. Elsborg is just awesome. Poor Ed, if you went by sheer page time and the time he was given to build a relationship with Addie, he shouldn’t have stood a chance.

The Edge of Night. Not a great track record with men. So he’s conflicted between what he wants to do and what he feels like is the “right thing”. The other thing that I’ve seen is characteristic to a Barbara Elsborg book is an imperfect hero. I am ev I actually feel stupid after reading this book.

Mansell Thkng 2 books.
