Feath you do some math you will quickly realize, that this baby is one of the best Russ variants in the game right now. I do not get the desire by multiple people here to take 2 completely different army lists and combine them for the sake of combining them into some hybrid of the rules to obtain an advantage they clearly are not supposed to be recieving.
Are they 40K approved? Use Orders, buff units that need it most, prioritise targets. Commissars also faced a steep price decrease, now being 16 points instead krifg 31 at base. I am still somewhat steamed about not being able to put them in Hades drills, but they frankly work better with some character support. On the firepower side of things, hellstrike missiles are no longer one-use only but you can fire only 1 per turn. Because Guard has access to cheap platforms for weapons, it may be better to specialize your units. Kriegers lack many things that make Imperial Guard awesome, like Veterans, WyvernsVendettas and Creed kridg, but instead they hold the fucking line like none can, and drown the field in a shit-ton of cheap artillery, oh and did we mention you can take 80 heavy-weapons teams? A bit weird, but it is a cost saving measure if you’re really trying to fine tune your points.
