I’m a writer too. During this time, she completed her first book, Beauty: It was perfect as it was, and I wholly endorse your decision never to write any more Technicolor endings. Hi Robin, no need to pack in another question, just here to wave hello and to mention I’ve had your books – a lot dbon them – in first edition hardbound on my shelf for – this dates me, surely – decades and decades.

You also write women like they are human. It’s not that turning stuff inside out can’t be fascinating and spectacular but I tend to be more interested in what you can do with a little tweaking.

Where do you get the inspiration for your stories? I read my copy many times when I was a teenager in the late 90’s it literally fell apart, I need to get a new one.

I have read most at least all of your books that I can find of your books – and enjoyed them all. They are both Beauty stories, but are very different from each other. As far as happy endings, I like the quieter ones, and I adore the spin you put on Rose Daughter.

The first part of EBON pretty well sank like a stone in my own emotional swamp. Go read some reviews and see what pulls at you.

Thanks for writing so many books ebo have kept me entertained! And there’s no publication date. It’s been said that a children’s story that isn’t worth reading as an adult isn’t worth reading at all. You are one of my favourite authors and I am afraid I will have to gush like a besotted fangirl. I will tell my husband and my best friend that I am wonderful, I think they need robon hear it! The Spanish version of Sunshine is out. It’s my favorite rendition of the Robin Hood tale!

The infuriating minority, but still the minority. But I love the Damar books more. Have a lovely night! I just really, really, really hope she finishes this series before she dies. I look forward to your next books. I hope I can someday write a book half as wonderful and enduring! Want to Read saving…. Just a moment while we sign you in to your Goodreads account. Outlaws of Sherwood was the first book I read that both gave me stomach butterflies and made me cry. Like everyone here I am a huge fan of yours. I’ve always wondered, in Spindle’s End, when Katriona tells Aunt that she doesn’t feel mdkinley a fairy because magic feels like bright scraps hiding in the dark – is that similar to the way you view creativity and writing-ideas? I know you’ll never see this, but I wanted to say that your ‘Beauty’ is my absolute favorite retelling of Beauty and the Beast.

Now including KES for the fun I get to have with her. Use of this site constitutes acceptance of our User Agreement and Privacy Policy.

One thing I often think about is the father figures in your work. Apr 15, Emma Jean marked it as to-read.

I mind less eboh as see above YA is now mainstream and less of a ghetto. I confided in her that it was yours, and that when she was a little older, I would share it with her as well. I will sometimes buy first installment from a debutant for originality of thought and the overall writers joy you feel in such books.
