I did like all of the storylines at times, but they weren’t as coherent as in the earlier books. Carmen, after a year of social transparency at her new college and a self-proclaimed loss of identity, has maintained only one new friendship—Julia, the resident Drama Diva of the forevef year at Williamsand one of the few freshman widely known in the social standings. I’ve grown to care about these girls so much but this book was so painful to read. Want to Read saving…. Quotes from Forever in Blue: So awful I doubt I will ever read again.

She soon discovers that it is Leonardo Leoone of the most acclaimed artists at the college, and she is tempted to look at his progress on his painting.

She impulsively decides to take the Traveling Pants with her in order to get back at Tibby for getting back together with Brian and Lena for always choosing her friends over her sister. They all pretty much turn whorish. However, due to her extreme shyness and strict upbringing, she is uncomfortable painting Leo in the nude and is unable to draw him the way she wants to. She realizes that, despite their limitations, her family does have something to offer her.

How many problems did I have with this book, if we counted them, we might be here forever. Jul 05, Bitchin’ Reads rated it it was amazing Shelves: And then in a momentsimple and pure, they were together in a way they hadn’t been before.

Join Ann Brashares’s beloved sisterhood once again in a dazzling, fearless novel. I think it could be the catalyst for some important conversations on morality and other coming of age topics, and if used in this contex I read this one to finish out the series.

United States of America.

I loved the whole series, I read the first 3 books but I wanted to read other things so I took a break and now I am back and I want to finish the last book in the series. Lena and Tibby were taking the train together: It was nice remembering that feeling and re-connecting with these characters.

Hoping to start it this weekend.

For kids who love romantic reads. In other ya contemporary books I often find myself being annoyed at characters making stupid, stupid, stupid decisions. Carmen was my poor baby in this book, brashaes lost herself and had to find herself all alone, without her friends. Not a novel I enjoyed. Y leer el quinto va a ser una tortura y voy a terminar odiando la historia, la autora y el mundo. She becomes even more upset when Effie, Lena’s younger sister, meets Tibby to ask her if she would mind it if Effie and Brian dated.
