View all 22 comments. Every time I read a disturbing book, I’m gripped by the thought of wanting to make my future children read it don’t know what that says about me. Parents should know that this book is a bit too scary for smaller children since it details the theme of death and it explores different ways that the children in this book die. The usual ghastly interesting illustrations from the author add to the overall effect. I love a good convergence!
